Step 1Place chickpeas, garlic, chilli flakes, oil, lemon juice and 2 tablespoons warm water in a food processor. Season with salt and pepper. Process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle with chilli. Drizzle with oil. Serve.
Serve dips with crackers, grissini (breadsticks), crostini, corn chips, crusty bread, Turkish bread, melba toast, pita chips, lavosh, or raw or cooked vegetables, or as part of an antipasto platter.
