Asparagus with sesame dressing for 6 person

Asian sesame seed dressing is delicious when served with fresh green asparagus.

Ingredients for Asparagus with sesame dressing

Asparagus with sesame dressing, How to Make

  • Step 1
    Trim ends from asparagus, then using a sharpe knife, cut on a severe angle so that each slice is about 10cm long. Cook asparagus in a large saucepan of boiling salted water for 30-60 seconds or until almost tender. Refresh under cold running water, then drain. Pat dry with paper towel.
  • Step 2
    Combine sesame paste, sugar, sake and soy sauce in a large bowl. Add asparagus and toss to coat in dressing. Serve sprinkled wtih sesame seeds.

Hint: Try the white sesame seed dressing with steamed green beans, or a combination of baby green beans, sugar, snap peas and snow peas.
